Nov 25, 2007· USER SINCE 11/25/07. PROFILE. BLOCK USER. My dad gave me an older Jiffy Model 30 auger that he got from a guy at work. I talked to the guy that gave it to him and he thought it was a problem with the governor. It will start, but I can't get it warmed up to idle. I checked it out and there was a spring that was off and pretty bent up.
